You've got questions? We've got answers.
Yes, you need to pay a 2% cash in fee whenever you add money to your PayMaya account through Metrobank. But as long as you maintain the cash in amount within the Php 10,000.00 monthly threshold, the convenience fee will be credited back to your account in 24 hours.
When you have reached your monthly threshold of Php 10,000.00, the 2% becomes non-refundable.
The 2% cash in fee serves as the processing fee each time you add money through digital and over-the-counter channels. However, this will be refunded to your PayMaya account if you don’t exceed Php 10,000 cash in for that month.
Online and mobile banking are safer ways to transfer funds, during and even after the COVID-19 pandemic. With digital transactions, you can minimize in-person interactions and physically handling money.
You can confirm all successful cash in transactions through your PayMaya app’s activity list. Since it reflects real-time updates of credited amounts and billed processing fees, you can use it to check all your account transactions.
Keep track of your monthly cash in limits and make sure to not go beyond the Php 10,000.00 monthly threshold. Doing so will automatically qualify you for a cash in rebate. However, rebates are only applicable when you cash in via channels that bill processing fees. Otherwise, cashing in through partner channels that don’t charge fees won’t entitle you to refunds.
The refund will be reflected on your account within 24 hours after the cash in transaction. If you have not received it by then, you can contact any of our following support channels:
