Boost your interest up to 14% p.a. when you pay with Maya

1. Promo duration is from August 1- August 31, 2023 extended to September 1-30,2023 as approved by DTI-FTEB, with the transaction period per month (refer to clause #2)

2. This promo is open to all new and existing Maya Savings accountholders who will do the spend requirements detailed below on the Maya Wallet. All Maya Savings accountholders can enjoy a base interest rate of 3.5% a. on balances up to P5M, and increase their interest rate further based on the spend requirement per tier:

*Anything beyond Php100,000 earns 3.5% interest p.a. starting September 1, 2023 until further notice

*Any balance in excess of Php 5,000,000.00 will not get any interest

If a Maya Savings accountholder who just opened a Savings account did not complete any of the transactions above on the Maya Wallet, he/she will still be enjoying a 3.5% interest rate p.a. on his/her Maya Savings account.

3. In case of (including but not limited to) user-triggered mobile number change, the total amount of qualified accumulated transactions will be reset to zero (Php 0) and the user has to transact at least P1,500 to Php36,500 worth of qualified transactions again to qualify for the promo.
4. Accountholder will see on the Savings dashboard his/her qualification duration for bonus interest rate he is qualified for Maya Savings on the same day of his/her successful transaction.
   
   An accountholder who qualified within the month of August (starting August 1), will get his bonus interest rate until August 31, 2023.
   
   An accountholder who qualified within the month of August, will get his bonus interest rate until August 31, 2023.
5. Accountholder will be able to see his/her qualification duration for the bonus interest rate on the Savings dashboard or on the Missions screen
   
   Note: Make sure your app is updated to the latest version so you can track your boosted interest. You can check your Missions anytime to see your progress. For some users, you won't immediately see your Savings interest screen but your bonus interest will still be credited to your account every day after making a qualified transaction.
6. Your base interest rate and bonus interest rate will be reflected on your transaction history the next day as follows:

Note: Users who have an active boost until August 31, 2023 will receive their final boosted interest on September 1, 2023.

9. QR transactions made at the following merchants are excluded from the promo:
   1. Maya Business App (formerly called PayMaya Negosyo) merchants
   2. “Donation” category merchants
   3. “Gambling” category merchants
10. Maya users with merchant accounts and those under Maya Negosyo and Maya Business Manager (formerly PayMaya Business Manager or PBM) are disqualified from participating in this promo.
11. Maya payments (Maya number, Maya QR or Maya card) made to Maya Negosyo and Maya Business Manager merchants or submerchants are not qualified for the promo.
12. Payments made to or purchases of cash equivalent instruments, financial institutions, financial assets, insurances, ATM withdrawals, gambling/gaming chips, and other quasi cash transactions are also not qualified for the promo.
13. Maya payments (Maya number, Maya QR or Maya card) or transactions made to merchants within the crypto space are not qualified for the (e.g PDAX cash-in, other VASPs to be enabled where Maya payments are accepted, etc.)
14. Promo participants must agree to be interviewed and featured in announcements to be made by Maya regarding the promo in any of the following channels: website, social media, print and online media.
15. Videos and photos of participants may be used only for promotional ads related to this
16. Only Consumer accounts are qualified for this Maya users with Maya merchant accounts and Maya Center agents are disqualified from participating in this promo.
17. Maya users with duplicate accounts or who are blacklisted cannot participate in this Maya reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the prize or benefit if proven to be a duplicate account or participant is blacklisted.
18. In case of disputes regarding accountholder's eligibility for the promo, coverage of dates, fulfillment, Maya's decision shall prevail, in concurrence with DTI.
