- All the Referrals will go through the Bank’s standard credit card evaluation process/approval and turn around time.
- Upon pre-eligibility checks, the Referral will receive a message from the Maya app to continue with the final steps of application at the "Cards” tab on the Maya app and provide additional details and/or additional income documents as needed.
- Upon approval, the Referral may use their Credit Card for online purchases. The Physical Card will be delivered afterward following the standard card delivery turnaround time for Metro Manila and provinces by Maya’s card courier/s.
- Upon the delivery of the Physical Card, the Referral must activate the card on the Maya app by scanning the QR code from the card carrier.
- Additional Guidelines when referring:
- Referrals who submit applications through other means outside the mission process and beyond the referral period shall not qualify
- Referrals who quote a referral code not provided by Maya shall not qualify
- Maya MBCC-Employees referring co-employees/superiors shall not qualify
- MBCC cardholders referring an existing MBCC cardholder shall not qualify
- Only Referrers and Referrals who fully comply with the application requirements can be counted under this Referral Program.
- In case a Referrer is found to have made a misrepresentation or any other similar activity, as determined by Maya Bank, the latter shall have the right to forfeit the referral/reward.
- Reward/Referrals of MBCC cardholders will be forfeited if cardholder cancels the card, cardholder becomes past due or Bank suspends the cardholder due to valid reasons as covered in the Credit Card T&C.
- Only Referrals can follow up the status of their card application with Maya Bank based on the provisions of Republic Act No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its implementing rules and regulations and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC) through the various contact details provided for purposes of their credit card application. Maya shall not be bound to share any personal data of the applicant with the MBCC cardholder Referrer even if the same originated or was submitted to Maya by the Employee-Referrer.
- The reward is non-transferable.
- Any possible dispute on the awarding of the reward under this Program shall be settled with due diligence among the involved parties. However, the final decision shall rest on Maya Bank.
- The Maya Credit Cards Business reserves the right to amend these guidelines at any time with notice to the Maya Black Credit Cardholders.
- The MBCC Member Get Member Program is subject to the General Terms and Conditions on the issuance of the Maya Black Credit Card by Maya.
- The welcome reward received by a qualified user shall be deemed final unless the customer files a complaint within thirty (30) days from the receipt of the prize or reward.
- Maya users will receive rewards within a maximum of 30 business days after the promo period.
- Refunded / reversed transactions made through the Maya app will not qualify for this promo.
- Maya accountholders who are blacklisted due to a violation of a Maya promo, or who has violated or is subsequently found to be in violation of any of the terms and conditions of Maya are not qualified to participate in this promo.
- Those who are proven of or are found out to be abusing the Maya system or is proven of committing fraudulent acts to abuse the system are also not qualified to participate in the promo or receive rewards.
- If a prize or benefit has already been awarded and the violation or fraudulent activity is discovered after being awarded, Maya shall have the right to clawback the prize or reward given.
- Maya reserves the right to refuse and withdraw the awarding of rewards or prizes to accounts that are proven to be invalid or fraudulent or a result of gaming (i.e. abuse of system or weakness in the promo to win prizes or receive benefits).
- The customer must notify Maya of any complaints regarding the promo. The decision of Maya on the complaint with concurrence of DTI-FTEB shall be considered final. For clarifications, complaints and further assistance relative to this promo customers may visit the Help Center in the Maya app by navigating to 'Profile' and selecting 'Get Help.'
