Get 25% cashback on your Meralco bill using PayMaya

Promo Mechanics:     

1. Promo period is from December 1 to 31, 2019. 
2. This promo is open to all PayMaya users who will pay their Meralco bills in full and on time via the PayMaya app.  
3. Qualified users will get a cashback worth 25% of their Meralco bill, capped at P200.  
4. No minimum spend is required to earn a cashback.   
5. The promo is applicable to Meralco bills payment transactions only. A user can earn multiple cashback by paying multiple Meralco bills as long as he/she has not reached the maximum cashback for the promo period.  
6. The maximum accumulated cashback each user can earn during the promo period is P200.   
7. To pay for Meralco bills using the PayMaya app, follow these steps:
   a. Open the PayMaya app and log in to your account 
   b. Tap “Pay Bills” in the home screen 
   c. Select Meralco from the list of billers  
   d. Enter the required details (e.g. account or reference number) and the amount to be paid 
   e. Review and confirm your payment details, then click “Pay”
8. If you do not have a PayMaya account yet, follow these steps on how to get started: 
   Download the PayMaya app for free in the App Store or Google Play 
   a. Register with your name, email address and mobile number   
   b. Create a password 
   c. Wait for the SMS verification code and enter it in the app 
   d. Enter PAYMAYAMERALCO in the invite code field.  
   e. Click “upgrade my account”   
   f. Enter your personal information, upload a valid ID and proceed with a video call  
   g. Receive P50 for FREE upon successful account upgrade 
   h. Add money to your account to start using PayMaya

9. Qualified users will receive their cashback any time after their valid bills payment transaction to up to fourteen (14) business days after the promo period.  
10. Splitting of payment transactions will not be allowed. A single bill that is split into multiple bill payments with the intention of redeeming more than one cashback will NOT qualify.  
11. This promo is applicable to unique and valid PayMaya accounts only. Multiple transactions/payments made from the same device using different mobile numbers will not be considered valid. 
12. Users with duplicate accounts or who are blacklisted cannot participate in this promo.
    
13. PayMaya reserves the right to refuse the awarding of cashback or rewards to accounts that are suspected to be invalid or fraudulent (i.e. abuse of system or weakness in the promo to win prizes or receive benefits).
14. PayMaya reserves the right to withdraw cashback or rewards to invalid accounts even if the user has already received the cashback or benefit.  
15. Should the qualified transaction be cancelled or declined, whether the cancellation is customer- or biller-initiated, PayMaya reserves the right to withdraw the cashback or rewards equivalent to the cancelled payment transaction, even if the cashback has already been credited.  PayMaya reserves the right to debit any points/cash reward credited from your balance. If your balance is insufficient to cover the amount to be withdrawn at the time of withdrawal, PayMaya reserves the right to debit the balance not withdrawn when your balance is sufficient. 
16. PayMaya users with merchant accounts and those under PayMaya Negosyo are disqualified from participating in this promo. 
17. PayMaya users who have exceeded their aggregate limits many not receive their cashback on time. The cashback can only be credited the following month or once a user’s account balance is once again within the allowable limits – P50,000 for starter accounts and P100,000 for upgraded accounts.  
18. The customer must notify PayMaya for any complaints regarding the promo. The decision of PayMaya on the complaint with concurrence of DTI-FTEB shall be considered final. For clarifications and complaints relative to this promo, please email support@paymaya.com.
