Promo Mechanics

1. Promo period is from Mar. 16 – May 31, 2021.
   
2. This promo is open to new and existing PayMaya users who will pay for their personal income taxes to Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) via the bills payment feature of the PayMaya app.
   
3. To qualify for the promo, user must pay for their taxes to BIR using PayMaya on time.
4. A user can earn one raffle entry for every P1000 payment. Raffle entries will be computed as follows:
   
   1. Less than PHP 1000 payment = 0 raffle entry
      
   2. PHP 1000 payment = 1 raffle entry
      
   3. PHP 1,500 payment = 1 raffle entry
      
   4. PHP 2,000 payment = 2 raffle entries
      
5. Deadline of earning raffle entries is on May 31, 2021, 11:59PM.
   
6. There will be a total of 15 winners for the entire promo duration with 5 winners per month. Winners will be drawn via Zoom/MS Teams based on the following schedule.

7. All raffle entries are accumulative from the start until the end of the promo period.
   
8. A winner can only win once and is not qualified to win on the next raffle draw during the promo period.
   
9. PayMaya shall shoulder the 20% withholding tax for prizes exceeding P10,000.
10. The promo is applicable to bills payment transactions only.
11. The names of all the winners will be announced on the Official PayMaya Facebook page (www.facebook.com/PayMayaOfficial).
    
12. The winner will be notified via phone call to their PayMaya-registered mobile number and via registered mail. A PayMaya representative will get in touch with the winners to verify their identity and to give further instructions on prize redemption.
13. Winners will be receiving their cash prizes through their PayMaya wallets 7 –14 business days after confirmation.
    
14. Winner just needs to send one (1) valid ID (original & photocopy) via email when claiming the prize.
    
15. The names of all the winners will be announced on the Official PayMaya Facebook page.
    
16. Winners have until 60 days from receipt of notification, to claim the prize. Failure to claim will forfeit the prize with prior DTI approval.
    
17. The promo is applicable to BIR bills payment transactions only.
    
18. To pay for a bill using the PayMaya app, follow these steps:
    
    1. Open the PayMaya app and log in to your account
       
    2. Tap “Bills” in the home screen
       
    3. Select “Government” from the categories
       
    4. Select BIR from the list of billers
       
    5. Enter the correct required details (e.g. Tax Idenfication number, brand code, etc.) and the amount to be paid
       
    6. Review and confirm your payment details, then click “Pay”
       
19. This promo is applicable to unique and valid PayMaya accounts only. Multiple transactions/payments made from the same device using different mobile numbers will not be considered valid.
20. Users with duplicate accounts or who are blacklisted cannot participate in this promo.
21. PayMaya reserves the right to refuse the awarding of cashback or rewards to accounts that are proven to be invalid or fraudulent (i.e. abuse of system or weakness in the promo to win prizes or receive benefits).
22. PayMaya reserves the right to withdraw cashback or rewards to invalid accounts even if the user has already received the cashback or benefit.
23. Should the qualified transaction be cancelled or declined, whether the cancellation is customer- or biller-initiated, PayMaya reserves the right to withdraw the cashback or reward equivalent to the cancelled payment transaction, even if the cashback has already been credited. PayMaya reserves the right to debit any points/cash reward credited from your balance. If your balance is insufficient to cover the amount to be withdrawn at the time of withdrawal, PayMaya reserves the right to debit the balance not withdrawn when your balance is sufficient.
24. PayMaya users with merchant accounts and those under PayMaya Negosyo are disqualified from participating in this promo.
25. PayMaya users who have exceeded their aggregate limits many not receive their cashback on time. The cashback can only be credited the following month or once a user’s account balance is once again within the allowable limits – P50,000 for starter accounts and P100,000 for upgraded accounts.
26. The customer must notify PayMaya for any complaints regarding the promo within 30 days from the end of the promo period.
