Score cash prizes when you pay your Meralco bill in full on Maya!

Promo Mechanics:

1. Promo will run from January 15-March 31, 2024.
2. This promo is open to upgraded Maya users currently residing in the Philippines, with a mobile number from any of the local telco providers (i.e. Smart/Sun Cellular/TNT, Globe/TM, DITO, etc), and who will pay their Meralco bills using the Maya App.
3. During the Promo Period, eligible Maya Users can participate in the following activities and are entitled to the following rewards:

RAFFLE PROMO A: FOR ALL MERALCO PAYERS ON MAYA

1. New and existing Maya users can participate in this promo and get a chance to win the following prizes:

2. The raffle promo will cover bill payments from January 15-March 31, 2024 only.
3. To be eligible for the promo, Maya Users must pay for their Meralco bill in full, worth at least PHP 1,000 per unique transaction, starting December 1, 2023. The Meralco bill payment transaction must be made through the Maya App.
4. Raffle entries will be based on the unique Maya mobile numbers with qualified Meralco bill/s payment transaction/s.
5. Qualified Maya Users can only win once within the entire Promo Period.
6. Qualified Maya Users can earn one (1) raffle entry each time they pay a Meralco bill in full through Maya App throughout the Promo Period.
7. Qualified Maya Users will earn one (1) raffle entry for a single unique Meralco qualified bill payment transaction made via Maya App under one unique Maya account number only. Splitting the same bill into multiple transactions will not be counted as unique and valid transactions.
8. All transactions must be cleared, successful, and posted before the qualified Maya User earns one (1) raffle entry.
9. The deadline for earning raffle entries, raffle draw, and announcement of winners will be on the following dates:

10. The winners will be drawn via Microsoft Teams in the presence of a DTI representative.
11. Announcement of raffle winners will be on Maya’s official website.
12. To claim, all winners will be asked to sign a Release of Liability waiver and to submit a copy of a valid government ID to support@maya.com before their prize will be credited to their Maya account.
13. Prizes will be credited directly to the Maya account of the winners within fourteen (14) business days from the date of document submission to Maya.
14. Winners will be given sixty (60) days to submit the required documents for claiming their prizes. Failure to revert will forfeit their eligibility to claim and with prior approval of DTI, Maya reserves the right to award the prize to another winner.
15. Tax (including 20% withholding tax for prizes exceeding P10,000.00) and other expenses that will be incurred in relation to the prize shall be shouldered by Maya Philippines Inc.
16. The prizes are convertible to cash and transferrable because these will be credited to the total balance of the raffle winner’s Maya wallet which allows him or her to do any kind of transaction thereafter.
17. A qualified Maya User can only win once under Raffle Promo A. If a winner is drawn more than once, the winner will get the prize with a higher value.
18. The winners will be notified via in-app notifications, registered email, SMS, and phone call to their Maya-registered mobile number. A Maya representative will get in touch with the winners to verify their identity. Maya is the sole controller and processor of all personal information of participants under this Promotion and promotion participants agree to solely rely on Maya’s Privacy Policies in connection with the personal data they provide for participation in this promotion. 19. By participating in this Promotion, the raffle winners agree to be featured in announcements to be made regarding the promotion in any of the following channels: website, social media, print and online media.
20. Maya reserves the right to use the name, image and video of the raffle winners for publicity and promotional purposes in connection with this promotion without further compensation.
21. All regular and contractual employees of Maya Philippines, Inc. and its third-party suppliers, Voyager Innovations, Inc. and the MVP Group of Companies, including their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the Promotion.

RAFFLE PROMO B: FOR FIRST TIME MERALCO PAYERS ON MAYA

1. Maya Users who are paying their Meralco bill for the first time and in full worth at least PHP 1,000 thru the Maya App can participate in this promotion and get a chance to be one of 30 winners of P10,000 (10 winners per month).
2. Qualified Maya Users will earn a raffle entry for a single unique Meralco qualified bill payment transaction made via the Maya App under one unique Maya account number only.
3. Qualified Maya Users can earn a maximum of one (1) raffle entry for their first Meralco bill payment transaction through the Maya App, provided that the said bill is paid in full.
4. All transactions must be cleared, successful, and posted before the qualified Maya User earns one (1) raffle entry.
5. A qualified Maya User can only win once under Raffle Promo B . However, a winner for Raffle Promo B is still elgibile to win a prize under Raffle Promo A.

Other Terms and Conditions:

1. This promotion is only applicable to unique and valid Maya User accounts only. Maya Users with merchant accounts and under Maya Negosyo are disqualified from participating in this promotion.
2. This promotion is applicable only to unique and valid Maya accounts registered under a unique mobile number and mobile device. Maya User will not be eligible to participate in the promotion if he/she creates multiple accounts using one mobile device. Moreover, accounts created, and transactions made outside of the Maya app are not eligible for this promotion.
3. Each winner can only win once in each promo. However, a winner in one promo may still be eligible to win a prize in the other promo provided all the requirements are met. .
4. Refunded transactions made through the Maya App will not qualify for this promotion. Moreover, splitting the same bill for the same biller into multiple transactions is not allowed and is subject to withdrawal of prize/s awarded.
5. Maya Users with duplicate accounts or who are blacklisted cannot participate in this promotion. Maya reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the prize or reward awarded if it is proven that the raffle winner has a duplicate account is blacklisted.
6. Maya reserves the right to refuse the awarding or withdraw the rewards or prizes awarded to the accounts that are proven to be invalid or fraudulent or a result of gaming (i.e. abuse of system or weakness in the Promotion to win prizes or receive benefits).

8. Should the qualified transaction of the winning Maya User be cancelled or declined later on, whether the cancellation is customer- or biller-initiated,Mayareserves the right to refuse the awarding of the prize or reward or to withdraw the same if already awarded and/or credited to the winning Maya User’s account. Mayareserves the right to debit any points/cash reward awarded and/or credited under this promotion from the winning Maya User’s balance. If the winning Maya User’s balance is insufficient to cover the amount to be withdrawn at the time of withdrawal,Mayareserves the right to debit the balance not withdrawn when his/her balance becomes sufficient.

10. Maya Users who have exceeded their aggregate limits may not receive their prize or cashback reward on time.
