Digital financial services leader retains workplace and technology honors for a second year, adds People Transformation recognition
Maya has been named among the Best Companies to Work for in Asia for the second consecutive year, earning recognition at the 2026 HR Asia Awards for its workplace culture, employee engagement and commitment to people development.
The company also received the People Transformation and Tech Empowerment awards, bringing its total to three distinctions this year. The recognition marks Maya's second consecutive win in both the Best Companies to Work for in Asia and Tech Empowerment categories, with People Transformation joining its honors in 2026.
Maya, the leading digital financial services platform in the Philippines, brings together payments, banking and credit solutions for consumers and businesses.
Organized by Business Media International, the HR Asia Awards recognizes companies for their workplace practices, employee engagement, and efforts to develop and support their people. In the Philippines, 44 companies were selected for the Best Companies to Work for in Asia award from 160 surveyed organizations.
“Being recognized again is meaningful because building a good workplace takes continuous effort,” said Charee Lanza, Maya Group Chief People Officer. “We want our people to have opportunities to develop their careers, learn new skills and take on new challenges as Maya continues to grow. These awards reflect the work of our teams in making that happen.”
Maya's people development initiatives include structured career and leadership programs, hands-on learning opportunities, and training that helps employees across different functions build skills in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI).
The company also uses employee feedback to improve its workplace programs, complemented by initiatives that support employee well-being, recognition and engagement.
The latest awards add to Maya's growing list of workplace recognitions as it continues to invest in the people behind its digital financial services.
