Maya, the country’s leading digital financial services platform, has been recognized for the third consecutive year as a Top Collecting Partner for Pag-IBIG Fund, underscoring its role in enabling digital collections through the agency’s Virtual Pag-IBIG platform.
In 2025, Maya processed over 3.5 million transactions for Pag-IBIG Fund totaling more than ₱24 billion—reflecting strong year-on-year growth of nearly 20% in transaction volume and over 38% in value from 2024. This continued increase highlights the growing adoption of digital payment channels among Pag-IBIG members in the Philippines and overseas.
Through Maya’s payments infrastructure, members can conveniently settle savings contributions and loan payments online, helping reduce friction in accessing essential government financial services.
Accelerating adoption of Virtual Pag-IBIG
Launched in December 2022, Virtual Pag-IBIG is the agency’s online service platform that allows members to access services anytime, anywhere through mobile devices or computers. It enables users to manage contributions, apply for housing loans, and complete transactions without the need to visit a physical branch.
As of 2025, Virtual Pag-IBIG has reached over 13.81 million downloads, reflecting a strong shift toward digital channels for managing financial transactions and housing-related services. It also provides access to service support, allowing members to connect with Pag-IBIG representatives for assistance.
Supporting Pag-IBIG Fund’s mandate through digital channels
This digital momentum supports Pag-IBIG Fund’s broader mandate of promoting savings and enabling affordable housing for Filipino workers. In 2025, the agency recorded ₱160.41 billion in membership savings collections and released ₱140.54 billion in housing loans, benefiting over 90,000 families.
Pag-IBIG Fund also declared a record ₱64.34 billion in dividends, marking the highest payout in its 45-year history.
“As more members shift to digital channels, Virtual Pag-IBIG continues to play a key role in making our services more accessible and convenient,” said Marilene Acosta, Chief Executive Officer of Pag-IBIG Fund. “Our partnerships with digital platforms like Maya allow us to better serve members wherever they are, including overseas Filipinos.”
“As more Filipinos go digital, it becomes increasingly important to make essential services easily accessible through these channels,” said Shailesh Baidwan, Maya Group President and Co-Founder of Maya. “Our partnership with Pag-IBIG Fund enables members to conveniently manage their housing contributions and payments, as well as grow their savings through programs like MP2—helping them make the most of these services anytime, anywhere.”
Building the backbone for digital payments
Maya serves as a payments backbone for enterprises and institutions, including government agencies, enabling secure and seamless collections across omnichannel touchpoints—from online platforms to face-to-face transactions.
Its infrastructure supports a wide range of merchants—from large enterprises and public sector partners to small and micro businesses—allowing them to accept payments, manage collections, and serve customers more efficiently.
By supporting partners like Pag-IBIG Fund, Maya contributes to broader efforts to improve ease of doing business and expand access to financial services—helping more Filipinos transact, save, and participate in the formal financial system.
