Use Maya to gain XP
As you use Maya to save, spend, borrow, or invest, you gain experience – or XP for short. Your XP is the number on your XP dashboard, which can go up or down every week based on how consistently you use Maya.
Level up as you go
When you gain enough XP, you’ll level up. There are 5 levels in total, which you can track on the XP dashboard or on your home screen.
Unlock game-changing benefits
Each level unlocks benefits that make Maya even more rewarding, including transaction bonuses, improved offers, and special perks you can grab for a limited time.

How is my Maya XP calculated?
Your Maya XP is based on the following:
- How often you use the Maya app and its features
- How many Maya products you use (wallet, savings, investments, etc.)
- How you pay back loans or credit (if you have any)
- Extra points for good actions, like completing your profile or using new features
As long as you use Maya regularly and responsibly, this should help you gain XP. Note that your XP is updated every 24 hours, so you will not be able to see changes in real time.
How often is my Maya XP updated?
Your Maya XP is updated every 24 hours, meaning you won't see any real-time changes whenever you use Maya.
If you're new to Maya, your XP will show up the day after you join.
Where can I view my Maya XP?
You can view your total XP so far by going to your Maya XP dashboard. To do so, just log in to Maya and tap the Maya XP tile.
You can also quickly check the XP you've gained for the current week, which is displayed in the XP widget on your Wallet dashboard and in your Profile.
Why do I have access to Maya XP while other users don’t?
Maya XP is currently in early access to select users, and we’re actively working to make it available to more users soon.

What do the different Maya XP Levels mean?
Each level represents how much XP you've gained for using Maya. There are a total of five levels:
- Starter: 100-299 XP
- Plus: 300-499 XP
- Pro: 500-699 XP
- Elite: 700-899 XP
- Ultra: 900-1000 XP
The higher your level, the more benefits and features you unlock. Your level is updated monthly based on your current XP, along with the benefits associated with that level.
To continue enjoying your current benefits, simply maintain your level by regularly using Maya to gain XP.

How often can I gain Maya XP?
Your XP is based on your usage of Maya and is updated every 24 hours. Expect to see changes on your XP towards the end of your day.
Why am I not earning Maya XP?
Your Maya XP updates once a day, not in real time.
You can keep gaining XP by using Maya more often and exploring features or products you haven’t tried yet or don't use frequently.
Why did I lose Maya XP?
If you aren’t using Maya as actively as before or if you forget to pay your loans/bills, you may lose XP as a result. The best way to keep gaining XP is to use Maya actively and responsibly every day.
Why does my XP keep changing?
Your Maya XP may take some time to reflect your full activity on the app. This helps us ensure your XP is measured accurately and fairly.
If you notice any changes or fluctuations, don’t worry — these are normal as your activity updates in our system.
