All Maya users with a prepaid Maya Card.
When you use your prepaid Maya Card in foreign currencies, a small charge called the foreign exchange conversion fee is added. This covers the cost of processing international transactions.
This fee helps us make sure you can keep using your Maya Card smoothly for overseas and foreign currency transactions.
When you use your prepaid Maya Card for transactions in a foreign currency, the amount will be converted to Philippine Pesos (PHP) using the current Mastercard or Visa exchange rate.
On top of this, a 1.75%* forex conversion fee is added to the converted amount.
*The 1.75% forex conversion fee is effective from September 1, 2025 to February 1, 2026. Afterwards, the fee will go back to the standard 2.75%.
