Promo Mechanics

1. Promo periods is from March 1-31, 2023
2. This promo is open only to customers who do not have a Maya account yet, with a mobile number from any of the local telco providers (i.e. Globe/TM, DITO, etc), who are currently residing in the Philippines, and will transact using Maya. Additionally, only users who create a new account (consumer) using the Maya app will be qualified to participate.
3. Qualified users can participate in the promo and earn the rewards when they do the following in order: 
   1. Create or sign up for a Maya account using the Maya app to get ₱20 Maya Wallet credits. 
   2. Upgrade or verify the Maya account AND do any of the following transactions for the first time to get an additional ₱40 voucher reward. Minimum spend of ₱20 for user to qualify for the additional reward. Qualified transactions: 
      1. Create or sign up for a Maya account using the Maya app to get a ₱20 voucher reward. 
      2. Upgrade or verify the Maya account to get ₱10 voucher reward
      3. AND do any of the following transactions for the first time to get an additional ₱30 voucher reward. Minimum spend of ₱20 for user to qualify for the additional reward. Qualified transactions:
      4. Buy any item from Shop (only select load and data products are eligible)
      5. Pay bills through Bills Pay feature
      6. Send Money (through Send Money feature to another Maya user only)
      7. Buy Crypto
      8. Deposit to Savings
      9. Pay via Maya QR (except Negosyo QR merchants)
      10. Pay via registered Maya number
      11. Pay using Maya virtual card or physical card online or in-store
4. Qualified users can earn the one-time ₱40 additional voucher reward from Joining Bonus only after doing their first successful transaction amounting to at least ₱20, on their Maya app. The necessary transactions must be cleared and posted before the user is credited with the reward.
5. Items bought from Maya Shop must be for self-loading only and not for gifting to be qualified as a valid first transaction. For self-load transactions, only load and data products from the following mobile networks are eligible: 
   1. Globe
   2. TM
   3. DITO
   4. PLDT
6. Bills pay transactions made at the following billers are excluded from the promo:
   1. “Government” category billers
   2. “Donation” category billers
   3. “Others” category billers
   4. UnionBank
7. Sending money must be done through Maya’s Send Money feature and receiving money must be through the Maya account to qualify for the promo. Sending money through the following are NOT qualified transactions:
   1. Maya to Bank Transfers (including but not limited to InstaPay and PESONet)
   2. Maya to Smart Padala
   3. Bank Transfers to Maya (including but not limited to InstaPay and PESONet)
   4. Smart Padala to Maya
8. Qualified users will be rewarded through instant credits to their Maya wallet.
9. For Joining Bonus, unused voucher rewards will expire within 60 days upon receipt.
10. Any reward credited to the qualified user shall be deemed final unless the customer notifies Maya any of mistake in crediting, such as, but not limited to: incorrect reward credited or uncredited reward, within 10 days from the end of the promo period.
11. Existing Maya users along with those with merchant accounts and under Maya Business are disqualified from participating in this promo.
12. This promo is applicable to unique and valid Maya consumer accounts only. Maya reserves the right to withdraw rewards or prizes if one person has already received the prize or benefit, even if already issued.
13. This promo is applicable only to unique and valid Maya accounts created using the Maya app and registered under a unique mobile number and mobile device. User will not be eligible to participate in the promo if he/she creates multiple accounts using one mobile device. Moreover, accounts created outside of the Maya app are not eligible for this promo.
14. Maya users will receive rewards within a maximum of (30) business days after the promo period.
15. Refunded transactions made through the Maya will not qualify for this promo.
16. Maya accountholders who are blacklisted due to a violation of a Maya promo, or who has violated or is subsequently found to be in violation of any of the terms and conditions of Maya are not qualified to participate in this promo.
17. Those who are suspected of or are found out to be abusing the Maya system or is suspected of committing fraudulent acts to abuse the system are also not qualified to participate in the promo or receive rewards.
18. If a prize or benefit has already been awarded and the violation or fraudulent activity is discovered after being awarded, Maya shall have the right to clawback the prize or reward given.
19. Maya reserves the right to refuse and withdraw the awarding of rewards or prizes to accounts that are proven to be invalid or fraudulent or a result of gaming (i.e. abuse of system or weakness in the promo to win prizes or receive benefits).
20. Should the qualified transaction be cancelled or declined, whether the cancellation is customer- or biller-initiated, Maya reserves the right to withdraw the cashback or reward equivalent to the cancelled payment transaction, even if the cashback or reward has already been credited. Maya reserves the right to debit any points/cash reward credited from your balance. If your balance is insufficient to cover the amount to be withdrawn at the time of withdrawal, Maya reserves the right to debit the balance not withdrawn when your balance is sufficient.
21. The customer must notify Maya for any complaints regarding the promo. The decision of Maya on the complaint with concurrence of DTI FTEB shall be considered final. For clarifications and complaints relative to this promo, please email support@maya.ph.
22. Maya users who have exceeded their aggregate limits may not receive their prize or cashback on time. The prize or cashback can only be credited the following month or once a user’s account balance is once again within the allowable limits – P50,000 for starter accounts and P100,000 for upgraded accounts.
